Glad to hear that the meds seem to be working for you. Play those drums, write that book, whatever!

I titrated up to 50 mg on Sunday, it's been a mixed bag so far, but Lisdex in general seems to be working for me, I think. Not without its complications, but definitely a new way to experience the world!

Forwarding this to someone I know who has ADHD. An encouraging post.

lovely piece! recently I was suggested to consult with an ADHD professional but haven't been able yet for financial reasons. been strugling with chronic unemployment my whole adult life and I suspect it may be one of the causes for that

I don't know where you are based but Reddit is a great resource for getting access to the questionnaires and scoring methodology psychologists will use to assess ADHD in adults. I found it super useful as a way to understand the clinical context of ADHD, aswell as use it to frame some of my behaviour in a different light, because ADHD is really misrepresented. I found my basic pop culture knowledge of it was mostly wrong, which is why I went undiagnosed for so long. It gave me the confidence to pursue a formal diagnosis. ADHD tends to bring out imposter syndrome in a lot of people.
